BLOG ON "THE PATH" I --  (April 20, 2009)  It should be becoming pretty obvious to most everyone, by now, that we are moving into a new era in wo/man’s history.   We experienced a pretty major “CrossOver” in the ‘60’s.  We now approach another, much more profound, Right of Passage in the journey of our little race. 

The time has come that we must take responsibility for our own Soul’s Growth.  We know. This sounds pretty etheric.  Even daunting.  But so is just living in today’s world.  We are pulled this way and that by our own desires and needs – and those of others – and a million different messages.

So – if, by definition, we must choose among millions of options . . . what more important choice can there be than to come to understand our own personal consciousness – which must - by definition - be the most important element of our being ?   The “Catch 33” is – we have already been convinced that other people (or institutions) can take care of that ingredient of ourselves better than we can. 

Well . . . maybe.  Maybe not.  My purpose in this Blog, is to now help you analyze that question and decide for yourself.  I have been involved in the direct pursuit of Spiritual Growth since the late ‘60’s and I have analyzed the process and narrowed it down to a step-by-step process. 

This blog will - over a period of time - help you:

     Figure out where you are on “Your Path to Consciousness”;

     Decide if you want make progress along “Your Path”;

     Understand what it takes to make progress on “Your Path”;

     IF you choose to do so, Make a  Commitment  to that progress (the first real “Step”);

      Begin “The Great Work”;

We will then break down that “Work” into the two basic Steps of analyzing how best to progress along those Steps, and - well - Do it !

The goal ?   Higher consciousness.  The goal ?   Enlightenment !

Oh, I know !   Pretty heady stuff.  But OH SO IMPORTANT !   To you.  To wo/mankind.  To our very survival !   Let’s face it, modern society is leaving us pretty bereft of the more noble – the “Higher” – matters of life.  Most of us have not been able to keep our eye on the  ball . . . we have been so distracted by the “Getting and Spending” that we have forgotten what we knew when we were young and innocent . . . that “There is more going on than meets the eye” !
